Tashir Group acquired seven real estate properties in Moscow. Total volume of investments in these projects will exceed $1 billion.
During the MIPIM 2010 exhibition Russian holding Tashir Group introduced two new investment projects in Moscow - residential complex Gazoil City and trade and leisure centre RIO on Leninsky Avenue. The group acquired both projects as distressed assets in 2009.

Gazoil City and RIO on the Leninsky avenue are not the only projects for Tashir Group to participate in 2009. The holding is actively taking part in mergers and takeovers; altogether the group has bought in 7 real estate properties in Moscow last year. In particular, the company entered into a partnership with Avenue Group. These companies are jointly realizing a project of specialized furniture centre RIO which was opened last October on the Leningradskoye Highway. Besides, the holding has bought out the share of JSC The Seventh Continent in the shopping centre Shokolad in Reutov, the object will be opened in the second quarter of 2010 under the brand name RIO; the company also acquired the operating shopping centre EuroPark on Rublevskoye highway, the residential complex Kronshtadtskiy in the Northern district of Moscow and 50% of office and hotel complex in the central nucleus of MIBC Moscow-City. "We have purchased all these projects at a significant discount, that is an example of the successful alliance under conditions of crisis. The total volume of investment in these projects will exceed $1 billion", said Tashir Group vice-president Vitaly Efimkin.
